God’s Plan for a Widow’s Survival

“I have never been one to shy away from making big decisions, but all that I faced these first few days was too much for me to comprehend.  I wonder if part of God’s plan for a widow’s survival is to load her with busy-work in the early months so she has a chance to work through the initial acceptance of the death in small bits and pieces? If we all could go off in our own rooms and work through our grief immediately, I wonder how many widows would ever emerge?”
