The Value of Suffering

“Suffering does something to make you and me a thick person.  It gives us substance.   That’s what the word “GLORY” means – weighty, heavy.   When you go through a difficult time, you look for those people who have gone through something similar because they know what it’s like to be in pain.

So, God does something remarkable in you when He brings trials into your life.  He’s making you more solid and glorious and into what He intended you to be.

He’s equipping you to be a good counselor.  You are putting on display the value and the worth of God.  Suffering demonstrates for the world just how valuable God is.”
